Saved Queries

The Saved Queries page lists every Advanced Search query you have saved, plus the ones your organization has shared. From here you can run a query again, export its results, share it, rename it, delete it, or attach an action to it.

Saving a query

Build a query in Advanced Search on the Devices or Users page, then save it by name. Names are unique within your organization.

What you can do from the list

ButtonWhat it does
RunOpens the page the query belongs to with its rules applied, using the data as it is right now.
Excel / CSVDownloads the current results as a file.
Share / Make privateA private query is visible only to you. A shared query is visible to everyone in your organization.
Save nameRenames the query.
DeleteRemoves the query. Actions attached to it are removed too.
Add actionOpens the Actions page to schedule a report or auto-tag from this query.

You can change or delete only queries you own, unless you are an admin.

Add action is not always shown

Add action appears only for queries Navigator can run unattended. That means a query on a single asset type (Devices or Users), with its rules combined using AND, and without rules that look at one specific source’s value. If your query uses OR groups, rules on a different asset type, or per-source rules, the button is hidden. Simplify the query to use actions with it.
